Hebrews 6:18-20
So God has given both His promise and His oath. These two things are unchangeable because it is impossible for God to lie. Therefore, we who have fled to Him for refuge can have great confidence as we hold on to the hope that lies before us. This hope is a strong and trustworthy anchor for our souls. It leads us through the curtain into God's inner santuary. Jesus has already gone in there for us. He has become our eternal High Priest.
God never lies and we can hold onto the promises that He gives us, even when it looks like there is no hope in our life or current situation. Jesus is the anchor I hold onto and He has taken my prayers into God's inner sanctuary to present them to the Father.
I thank You Lord for Your promises that are true. I stand on Your word and trust that You will deliver on the promises that You have told me. Even when it looks like this storm will never end, I will still praise You and trust You.
