S- ACTS 20:19 I served the Lord with great humility and with tears, although I was severely tested by the plots of the Jews.

O- Paul serves with great humility, even when others were plotting against him.

A- I am a true servant of the Lord. To have pure motives and to speak encouragment and praise even when others are plotting against me.

P- Heavenly father, thank you for walking with me. Thank you for showing me that I can be a vessel for honor. Lord, I ask you to search my heart. Teach me with tears and humility to serve you and show your true love. Test me, Lord and show me that I can be faithful. With hope and faith I trust in you Lord. Do your work in me. AMEN

ACTS 23 1:3

S- Paul looked straight at the Sanhedrin and said, "My brothers, I have fulfilled my duty to God in all good conscience to this day." 2At this the high priest Ananias ordered those standing near Paul to strike him on the mouth. 3Then Paul said to him, "God will strike you, you whitewashed wall! You sit there to judge me according to the law, yet you yourself violate the law by commanding that I be struck!"

O- Paul did what the Lord instructed of him, willingly, and with that he was kept safe and was able to speak the truth of God's word.

A- This can be applied in every day living if you judge you will also be judged.

P- Lord, Thank you for all of the tools that you give to us. Thank you for your Spirit, thank your for the Cross and thank you for your sacrifice for me personally. Today my prayer is to know you more, to understand the word and understand how to apply it to my life to sow the seeds you have prepared for me. I pray to fulfill my duty to you in all good conscience everyday. Amen.

ACTS 26 13:17

S- I was on the road, I saw a light from heaven, brighter than the sun. We all fell to the ground, and I heard a voice saying to me, why do you persecute me? Then I asked, 'Who are you, Lord?' " 'I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting,' the Lord replied. 'Now get up and stand on your feet. I have appeared to you to appoint you as a servant and as a witness of what you have seen of me and what I will show you. I will rescue you from your own people.

O- Paul states that he has lived as a Pharisee. He had spoken against them and voted to have some of them killed because he did not believe. The Lord showed himself to Paul, to prove to him he was alive and that he had a plan for Paul. Now Paul lives for God and does what is right by the Lord.

A- Being a true believer means to have faith in something you can not always see or understand.

P- Thank you Father that we can come before the cross and you will take us in as we are. We do not have to be perfect, but that you still want us as your children. You can rescue us from the enemy and all his lies. Thank you for gentle reminders. (Sometimes, all we need to do is look up). Lord, thank your for the plan you have for me, and I ask that you help me stay focused. Lord God, I ask that you help me to really rely on you. I pray that, I can be a servant. Thank you for having faith in me. AMEN.
